Where do AlQANAAS figures come from?
A transparent guide to gold prices, reference FX, economic releases, karat conversion and making costs.
Global gold price
The base quote uses XAUUSD market data presented through TradingView. Pages expose the latest timestamp and market status, and stop describing a quote as live if the stream is unavailable.
Grams and karats
One troy ounce is divided by 31.1034768 grams. 24K represents near-pure metal value, while 21K uses 87.5% purity before making cost and tax.
Local currency
Local conversion uses a reference exchange rate with a timestamp independent from the gold quote. It can differ from cash FX or a particular retailer’s available rate.
Economic releases
We show event time, actual, forecast and previous values, then explain likely context through USD, yields and price response. A data result does not automatically become a buy or sell order.
